CV (Composite Vent) Explosion Vent

Fike's answer for most standard explosion protection applications, the CV explosion vent is a composite membrane consisting of a layer of Teflon (to prevent leakage) inserted between two layers of stainless steel. CV explosion vents are lightweight and specifically designed with scoring to burst in either direction at the same burst pressure. This explosion vent provides excellent service life for static to light pressure cycling and partial vacuum conditions, as well as temperatures below 500 deg. F.
